fun fact about dilyn: jack johnson is my favorite artist of all time.
i have been listening to this album non-stop for the last few weeks. in my car, at home, doing hw, getting ready. it is just such a gem. i found this special edition album when i was visiting one of my best friends out in DC at a record shop. it holds lots of sentimental value to me.
whether you like jack or not (but lets be honest, who can't?) - this is a one take album from a show that is just pure and good. not to mention the film that comes with the album is also incredible - seeing him live was my favorite concert for sure. i am patiently waiting for him to come back - or i mean, i would be cool with going to Hawaii to see him live...
i have also been listening to this album non-stop. who can deny the incredible lyrics that this man writes. clearly dictated by the Lord and meant to shine a light into each of our hearts to inspire greatness. i have been inspired and i appreciate his honesty in each track.
so these are just some samplings of the songs that have been pumping through my brain and heart over the last few weeks. i love introducing new music - but i would also like to make sure that i share my favorites of all time. there is just some music that never gets old and these are a few of those classics that i have learned to love and rely on.
