where is your gospel?

"i will sing the Lord's praise, for he has been good to me."
psalm 13:6

i believe that the story of the gospel transcends the bounds of the Bible account.
i believe that we can find the gospel in our every day life.
proof that the Lord loves us.
proof that he is working, living and active.

i see the gospel in my day to day life.

i see it in the weather. the fact that it can get scorchingly hot and then juuuuust when you can't to take it anymore, we get a cool night. a little bit of rain.

i see it in the way that two friends look at each other. falling more in love as time passes. not knowing what they are doing, but choosing to lay their own desires down so that God can perfect them.

i see it in the way my parents love me. that even though they have no idea what they are doing or what else they can say to their crazy, oldest daughter - they never run out of hugs, of i love yous, of belief and faith in the woman i am becoming.

i see it in the renewed sense of hope i feel after a couple of bad days. when i am driving and i can't help but smile (looking at you house church ladies). when i wake up and feel uplifted.

one of my closest friends told me to start taking a picture every day.
to capture the good that is in everything, no questions.
day 1. my pretty flowers from our farmers market and my new book i
finally got in the mail by Cupcakes and Cashmere's Emily Schuman

i still have a lot to be thankful for.
